I never liked being in bed alone

Belvedere 21 (former 21er Haus), Vienna (AT)

For the solo show I never liked being in bed alone, I imagined a 24m2 bed, hidden behind a Tinder-orange wall. The bed was accessible through a small entrance at the bottom of the wall and trough a hole in the middle of the bed. The bed, with its 2 oversized pillows and huge handmade blanket, was available for everyone for 2 months. Books and various objects were spread in bed. Lectures were given in bed, as well as projections under the bed. 2 prints on canvas (the Tinder logo and a googled « happy family » with my eyes covering the 4 family members’ eyes), 1 teddy bear wearing a « call me maybe » sweatshirt and my personal phone number small-written on the wall, were part of the show.
